Job Summary

We are seeking to hire a talented General Manager to manage a Team out of our local Service Center. As a Hawx General Manager, you will play a crucial, hands-on role in Field Operations by leading a team of skilled pest management Service Professionals, overseeing service delivery, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Leadership is of central importance to this people-centered position. The ideal candidate will use their deep understanding of pest management to hire, train, and coach a Team of Service Professionals that consistently provides best-in-class service.

  • $62,000 - $65,000


    Responsibilities

    • Hire, train, and manage a Team of world-class Operations team members
    • Monitor route efficiency and make adjustments (including coaching and disciplinary action).
    • Monitor NPS and directly contact customers whose experience did not meet our standards.
    • Develop team members and create a culture of excellence and longevity.
    • Regularly perform duties remotely when completing field assessments of Service Pros and document assessment.
    • Create a culture of safety within the team.
    • Ensure that all incidents and near misses are reported accurately.
    • Complete online Manager training course on Safety Programs to understand and train the Team on all Hawx Safety Programs.

    • Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively. This includes balancing coaching and training responsibilities with other managerial duties. 
    • Technical Expertise: Understands the pest management field and the technical aspects of the job being performed by front-line employees. General Managers must understand protocols, application techniques, products, equipment and other tools that are used on a day to day basis so they can train and coach to a high standard.
    • Safety, Risk Assessment, and Compliance: Understands relevant regulatory requirements, risk assessment methodologies, safety programs, and compliance standards.
    • Data/Report Analysis: Understands how to analyze operational reports and take action based on findings in a complex, fast-paced environment.


    EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • 3-5 years, preferably in a residential market, with people management experience (including front-line training).
    • Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license.
    • Must pass required background check and drug screening.
    • Must obtain all required state licenses/certifications.
